I’ve know Mandy and Jonathan since I was really young. She and my older sister were really close friends so she was around a lot. When I heard they decided to tie the knot my first thought was honestly “aren’t they already married?” Mandy and Jonathan have been together for seventeen years. Yes, 17. So I truly had to take a second to realize they actually never made it “official”.
They were going to be at St George Island for the weekend anyways so they decided that they would have an intimate ceremony while there. And of course I can’t say no to a reason to travel and go to the beach.
Mandy had some friends who helped her pull everything together last minute and the elopement was sweet, simple, and beautiful. They ordered her bouquet from Walden’s Flower Shop here in Thomasville. The arbor and the benches were actually rented from a lady on the island. Her beautiful jewelry was an anniversary gift from Jonathan from a few years back.
They even had their boys join them at the altar as they all made it official together.
For Mandy and Jonathan things might not seem very different now but I’m still so excited for them to be married! I’m truly wishing them many many years of happiness together.
