This past weekend I was invited to go up to Ellijay, Ga for a bachelorette party. Nikole and Thomas were referred to me by another photographer in one of the many Facebook groups I’m in. They were all in for my shenanigans and it was great!
We met up in the Walmart parking lot and drove down the road to find a nice spot showcasing the beautiful mountains. We had to turn around a couple of times because we kept passing places to park on the side of the road! We finally found a place and walked over to a big open field. The scenery was just perfect.
I’m pretty sure we laughed the whole session. These two were so much fun. I had no idea how this was going to turn out since I had never met them before. Nikole and Thomas were absolutely delightful. He was so cool with every pose and prompt we tried and she was down for it all too. I would have continued taking photos of them all day if I didn’t have a 5 hour drive ahead of me.
The mountains are my happy place. I don’t know why I don’t just move up there, but it’s such a treat getting to drive around and see the pretty colors and experience an actual Autumn. We don’t really get that in South Ga. Not for long anyways. If you ever want to take me up to North Georgia with you, I’m all for it. Just give me a second to pack my bag!
